Blues Fans, help Efren support Relay for life

Thanks Efren for the Art is a good Father's Day Gift, and also for taping our NAMI Stanislaus and Modesto Blues Festival and United Community Walk segment on Sacramento and Company on Channel 10 yesterday morning. If you'd like to view it before I upload our file from Efren on the http://www.myspace.com/modesto_blues_fest web profile, check it out on Efren's You Tube.

We appreciate the Quake supporting our Walkers for Hope and Recovery for mental wellness, and ask blues fans to come out for Relay for Life, which is following weekend.

Yesterday's TV spot, 3 minutes 45 minutes, courtesy application of nami stanislaus friend Debra DeLash, is the only event for feature spot on Regional Sacto TV for Graffiti Summer events, so when my turn came to talk on Blues Fest end of things, remembered to include our participation on Art Walk came from the art venue part of Modesto Blues Festival, where we also volunteer with Modesto Convention and Visitors Bureau, plugged the State Theatre, but may have forgotten to say Graffiti Summer events, as Debra's spot is really on the nonprofit fundraiser organization we feature this year as co-host of our United Community Walk.

So thanks Efren, and others for helping out this cause, so far we're ahead on fundraising for NAMI Stanislaus, and adding some new items to the festival itself, as we get the vendor layout into the City tomorrow, so on behalf of JB Presents, invite you all out, encourage you to join Efren and Relay for Life on June 21.

Modesto Area Women's Conference also on SacandCo.net with us

While waiting in the Channel 10 green room for guests, the 2 women on before us noticed our Modesto View and blues fest poster, and told us their story from Modesto also for an upcoming Women's Conference.

you might check the www.sacandco.net website to find out a bit more about it, they're listed same day of programming as we were.

Efren J

be cool if you could add on the women's conference spot

thanks for recording the whole show, as when I get it, can show other nami members and modestans that saw the wmv you sent on to me, the other event for the women's conference. They were Modesto View readers after all, probably have read your columns, or George Osner.... Sue Richardson, and even Motown Mojo, our friend Ruben here on Modestofamous.com and his 90 word spot in Scene each week with Marijke Rowland.
