24hr Playfest

Event details: The “Perfomaholics� present “24 Hour Play-Fest� on Saturday, June 7th at the Prospect Theater. Don’t miss the madness as students attempt to cram the entire dramatic process from the typewriter to the stage into just 24 hours. Here’s how it works: Students have signed up to be writers, directors, actors, or crew people. The night before the performance, each writer will draw a random theme from a hat. They then have 12 hours to write a short script. The finished product is then handed over to a randomly selected Director whose task it is to cast and direct the piece. He or she will work with actors and the technical crew to bring these freshly inked plays to life. The show will start at 7:30 p.m. at the Prospect Theater on 520 Scenic Avenue.
