Guess who has Summerfest tickets to give away!

Thanks to the ladies of the B93.1 morning show, Tammy Cruise and Angie Good, we have 10 pairs of tickets to give away for Summerfest 2008! If you have been trying to win Summerfest tickets on the radio and are tired of hearing a busy signal let Modesto Famous hook you up with a pair.

This is shaping up to be an amazing show with some of the hottest acts in music today featured on the bill. Grab a blanket and some sunscreen and get ready for five hours of great music! Ben Jelen, Matt Nathanson, Kate Voegele and Augustana will rock John Thurman field and make way for the headliner, Pat Monahan of Train.

Monahan will be taking his solo act on tour beginning in October. As the voice of Train, Monahan had several hit singles such as "Meet Virginia," "Drops of Jupiter" and "Calling All Angels." Monahan's unique powerful voice helped Train win a Grammy for best rock-song for "Drops of Jupiter."

To score a pair of tickets (valued at $45.00) to the June 14 show all you need to do is email me personally at modestofamous@gmail.com. I get a ton of email so to make sure that your email stands out, put "Send me to Summerfest" in the subject line and your first and last name in the body of the message. The first 10 people to email me their ticket request will receive a pair of tickets to the event. It doesn't get much easier than this!

This will probably shape up to be one of our most popular contests so email me soon. I don't think that I will hold on to these tickets very long.
