Modesto Blues Festival, like many free admission festivals in our area, is supported by sponsors and vendor participation. This festival supports the Blues in our area, an art venue and art project that goes with it year around, and this year's United Community Walk host nonprofit NAMI Stanislaus is also doing a fundraiser with this year's festival, so we have a bit more expanded schedule, events to sell at.

United Community Walk at 10 am, meets at Mancini Bowl in Graceada Park, on the festival main stage site, 401 Needham Avenue in Modesto, CA. Feel free to join in and walk, its free, donate to nami if you can, wear your organization tee shirt, or come in costume, we're a part of the Graffiti Summer events schedule, and our route will use the new Modesto Virginia Corridor walking and riding park up to Rotary Junction at Roseburg Square and return, both ways past the new Lions Club children's playground area in the new park, and back for lunchtime music in our vendor area.

Noon to one p.m., acoustic lunch time music with Joe Barretta, to complete the walk, and warm up for the main line up.

1 p.m. to 8 pm or finish

Rhythm Deluxe, Rene Solis and Laura Chavez and more with Guitar Extravaganza, last year's mama award winner, D. J. Slate and Rocket 88, then to Reno Explosion bands, Blue Haven and the Whiskey Haulers, and end with MoFo Party Band, all in Mancini Bowl, and Graceada Park area around the concert area.

and then we roll to the after party and jam at Minnie's Restaurant at 107 McHenry Avenue at Needham, 2 blocks away, till 11 or so.

So contact if a vendor, we're real interested as this supports the work we do for blues and our nonprofit networking with the United Community Walk and its host, the Modesto Blues Festival.
