Scott and Jim Christiansen and the Modesto Blues Festival, and the Peer to Peer Recovery Art Project have invited Joe Barretta to play his acoustic set in support of the United Community Walk and NAMI Stanislaus walk fundraiser, from noon to 1 p.m. prior to the main concert stage events, June 14, 2008, at the walk start and end spot in Mancini Bowl area of Graceada Park. Joe Barrretta recently played and opened for the Chris Cain band at Clayton's, and will be the State Theatre Art Walk Event Music guest June 19 for the Downtown Third Thursday Art Walk is a local singer, songwriter, and blues, jazz, 2007 MAMA award nominee with the Joe Barretta Band. .
