Do you Twitter?

Social networking sites such as MySpace and Facebook seem to be really growing lately. It is amazing to me how small the world seems to be getting. I have seen local businesses use the sites for marketing and I have seen people actually develop personal relationships with people on the sites that they follow.

My favorite site lately has been www.twitter.com. I admit that I should post more, but I love reading updates from other people. There are a growing number of people in our area that use the site to post short messages throughout the day about what they are doing. It is a fun way to meet new people.

Soon there will be a "Tweetup" in Modesto where local site members will gather together to chat over dinner at a local restaurant.
