Weekend Special Only 99 Cents

OMG What’s going on with The Modesto Bee? Someone over there must have bumped their head.. "smiles" I just can’t believe this great deal they got going on at The Modesto Bee. Only 99 cents & you get The Modesto Bee Saturday, Sunday & Monday. OK so you wont get The Scene on Friday at your door step. But Hey, no worries.. You can always pick up a copy of The Scene at your Queen Bean Coffee House’s & Cafes.
Well, I though I might just pass on the great news here. My wife put this coupon/add on my desk for me to get it done. I better act fast! Rumor has it that the staff played a little game of hide & seek with the fiancé person/CEO to sneak this deal to us and he still hasn’t found his way out of the press room. LOL That was last Monday.. Anyway, give them a call to take advantage of this super deal before it's gone. It may not last to much longer.

Here’s the coupon.. & if any body ask, you didn’t hear this from me..
Efren j… Smiles
Honestly friends, this deal works form me..
PS Will somebody over there turn the light on in the press room for that guy. LOL

why this is a good deal efren, the bee should commend you

Hey, I was reading mojo's blog follow up on the missing friend, and great we can blog here, do some public service on ol' modestofamous.com

I used to work in transport for the bee, still apologize about the truck, was a weekend bundle carrier, spotter nine spot usually, sometimes do some as spotter six, on weekends. Quite an operation when you get into the organization it takes to deliver from the dock, to the carriers, weekends, you deliver Sunday ads, comics, etc in on after you got Saturday out, then get the breaking Sunday news and local to combine for the Sunday Delivery, and try and get it there so you don't have to call after 8 am, where the heck is the BEE.....

Morning Spotter Nine had a slight bump, but enough to question Jdc 104s eyesite, it was hailing like you wouldn't believe, like gunfire in Iraq i suppose, and the street filling up to flood stage, beginning to leak a bit, got to keep them bundles dry, and be on time, and be safe, you don't back up if you don't have to, and then carefully, well how did I know someone be on street when I am, often nobody but carriers, a few cop cars awake, in weather like that, had been doing it awhile to know by then, .... but alas.....

Reminded of that picking up bundle of Modesto View this morning, and some SCENE copies for Riverdance, as told Cindy Lashbrook, Riverdance Farms host for the event of Marijke's note from Modesto Famous Page 4 of her Pick of the Pick and Gather for this weekend's fun.... to take on down to them, a bit busy in Livingston, though they get the Bee, setting up the festival. I'm taking down that copy of Rio Arts with me, and our new Art Walk Map four page with ad coupons, new this month, for Tresetti's, Clayton's, Deva, even a no tax sale period on art walk for Act of Kindness, (oops, self promotion here... am I taking lessons from you) my art is up there, but also have committment from Convention and Visitors bureau, to help downtown, draw folks in to see our great artists of the local scene, our music friends, many of who got the gig with Cindy and Pick and Gather from KatnAnna's posting here, on www.modestofamous.com

Before i put them in Modesto View column, where Chris makes me write about ART, not Blues fest, after all, at Clayton's that's Eric Benson's Job, though he often writes on JAZZ,,..... he does the music, I do the art the way Mitch lets us do it.... so Murphy writes on blues fest..... I only get to write on blues on JB site on myspace mercenary graphics partner gets to do, and then post Keena staff and art walk in the off months, put in a plug for Big Earl, make the art project take on Barretta, JB just an assistant to ModestoArtX as I am to JB Presents..... until this time of year, where grateful to Scene last week, had that paid add in with Graffiti Summer Events we put out at all the car club shows, our deal, with sponsor modesto view, such I gots to keep all happy, and...

includes our leader here, MOJO, who rightly loves our site, figures google maps is best, have to agree on that, but I've driven down to Riverdance, had to remind Rachel make the zip right, so everyone get to see the really nice place I'll be all weekend, as I found them here on www.modestofamous.com, got to work on a watercolor that has gotten good attention for my new friends, and for me, and though I show a lot, gotten some awards lately, it really helps any artist to make a sale, be involved in something, so I free blog, i.e. unpaid, except what stipend my partner and I trade back and forth on blues, our real gig is BCHC Rendezvous, the love one is Blues Fest, try and top our friend Chris Ricci, in X Fest, since we get to be in that Large Event VEnue category, he's inspired us, in the quest for that MAMA award we get nominated for, to actually try and win, live up to being a big thing, though PRIDE fest, renting same amount of Graceada Park got up against Eric and B93 and State Theatre, we added geography at least, since my mom and parks dept bro, who used to work in Bee prepress, suggested we avoid, Queen Bean.... mere stop for coffee, EFRENISM, after all, you and Deb post our posters, what about uptown, and use the Virginia Walking Corridor Park to help the NAMI Team see the new facility, almost get up to where mom plays tennis at Roosevelt, and also do art venue with farmer's market, book State Theatre music guest twice now for Art Walk, Joe Barretta, my friend in Turlock, like Jon Valenti, get on our bill for the lunch hour end of the walk with NAMI, while JB finishes up with Pete and Stuart to do the after party at Minnie's.....

And I stop in on Kyle Barker, get a new c harp on sale, talk pianos, get guitar strings, mom just noted I have them out on the porch while blogging, to take with me as though I still going to Strawberry Music Festival, which was last week, as if I could play......as Mitch has a old,, but new to Clayton's, baby grand, and with all the blogging there for Blue Monday and Eric Schedule, Blue Monday there each week, noticed Chris put up NINO's and the jams out there in June issue, and roll in with Vintage Blues Band at Minnie's as surprise, while Fat Man Blues Band, DJ Slate, who also does Fourth of July and back at our show, is doing the Kiwani's weekend Graffiti show next weekend, with Kyle and Penny, such blues becoming as much apart of Graffiti Summer events as oldies now. All hail Wolf Man Jack.....

So.... thanks for posting on the Bee, who I thought made a good investment in Modesto Famous...... and from blogging here, Chris drafted me to write art column, .... anyone will notice, the column has lots of info, but I sent in too much, so some of those run on sentences mine, we were a bit rushed, all this stuff going on, like Vangie is at the Scene Calendar desk, where no one publication, I mean

Ian Hill and 209 Vibe was at Art Walk Committee to help us. There's Zorch..... way cool zine..... and still none of us cover all everything that goes on here in Modesto, ask Mojo, next time you need to post to find someone out there, or get something out, when monthly deadlines don't work as fast as get it past editors on the Bee, or blog on Hive if you want ot, but internet fast is here, or myspace bulletins, where you get it your way......

Good night Efren, have to pack up the camping gear, art, join Commonality so I make the Big Earl show that opens Riverdance.

EFRENISM LOL

EFRENISM LOL I just love it! I think I will start to go with it if it works.. Smiles.. Call it what you want bro, all I really want to do is help people. I personally enjoy heading over to other venues and featuring other DJ’s for the Modesto View as well as appreciate my friends over at Concetta, The Speak Easy, Tresetti’s, Gelletto’s and all over Modesto.. IM so fortunate to be able to write for The Modesto View and The Rio Arts, it’s a wonderful place to spread love as well as here. “Modesto Famous Who knows, Maybe the gods of the Newspaper business in Modesto will invite me to spread a little love in their huge corner/city block someday. Smiles.. Seriously though, all I want to do is get people to feel good about themselves and to be happy in the community they live in.
