Magnolia Rhythm was the name of my previous acoustic/electric band. We tied for the MAMA award in the bluegrass/Americana category with the Puffin' Billies in 2002. I now perform in a variety of band formations. The Sammy Leverone Band consists of my husband, Scott on drums, brother Wendell White on lead guitar and vocals, Steve Ashman (of San Francisco based Zasu Pitts Memorial Orchestra) on bass. I play rhythm acoustic and lead vocals. I also perform at smaller venues with my son Jackson (of Vote Nixon) on lead guitar and my daughter, Lauren, on mandolin, fiddle and rhythm guitar. The kids also usually perform with the Sammy Leverone band as well. I also perform occasionally with Modesto big band, The Knight Sounds.
