Early Detection Save Lives

Early Detection Save Lives

Good afternoon..
Just a friendly reminder here ladies, early detection saves live. When was the last time you had a mammogram? Some one very dear to me has just be asked back to clarify a smudge on her last mammogram.

We are praying that it’s just a smudge on the mammogram X-ray. Also, yearly checkups and Pap-Test are wonderful for your sense of comfort in knowing. You owe it to yourself and your loved ones. Growing up with 3 ladies in my family; I have not only learned to love and respect women but to realize that they are all beautiful and a very important part of our daily life.
Fellows! Men can get breast cancer too. Friends, know your body and listen to what it’s telling you.
Respectfully

The Smudge

OK the Smudge turned out to be more then a Smudge on the mammogram monitor. She has to go back for a biopsy. The good news here is that early detection can save lives. I’m just happy that she took the time to have it done and keeps up on her appointments on a regular basis.
Fellows! Cancer doesn’t discriminate.. When was the last time you had a checkup? Turning 40 this year, it might be time to talk to your Doctor about what kind of exams might be needed to keep you clean from Cancer.
Thanks for your time

Cancer

I can tell you for a fact that Cancer scared the hell out of me. Luckily, I was able to be treated with radiation and my Cancer did not spread. I would advise everyone out there to get the proper tests done. I am happy to be a Cancer survivor, but if I had waited much longer to get seen, my situation could have become much, much worse.

Thanks Efren for putting this topic out in the open so that people can learn from it. Also, I will pray that your friend continues to stay well and Cancer free.

The Smudge Part 4

Glory to God in the Highest, it wasn’t cancer. The person I was referring to in this piece was my middle sister Veronica. I got the great news last night that it wasn’t cancer and dropped to me knees to give him thanks. Still, she will go back to fallow up in a couple weeks. Hey, its about life and doing the right thing for us and those who love and depend on us. This June I turn 40 years young and my wife is getting ready to schedule my first colonoscopy. Hurray! Giggles
Is it embarrassing to share this with the public, sure, a little bit. But still, if it will encourage other men to have it done and it saves a life from my blog here. It’s all worth it!
Colon cancer is NO joke. It can be a slow and painful death if it isn’t caught early. Me, I want to live as well to try to lead by example.
Fellows men to can get breast cancer too. If you haven’t had your yearly physical or check up.. Don’t wait.. Call today.. You owe it to yourself and your family.
PS Leading by example.. A colonoscopy.. Eek I guess its better then being the VD poster boy like Joey was from that ever so famous “Friends" episode LOL
