Pianotarium: Solo Piano Rock Tribute

Event details: "Rock Concert Pianist" Scott D. Davis to appear at Vintage Faire Mall for performances and CD signing. The event is part of a nationwide tour to support Davis' latest CD release "Pianotarium: Piano Tribute to Metallica." The album underscores the direction he's been taking his concert piano for the last two years. A metalhead to the core, but also with an appreciation for classical music, his CDs and performances reveal the complexity and intense beauty that fans of metal have always known and loved, in a light that can be appreciated by hard-rock fans and those (who until now) hear heavy-metal music as little more than noise and anger, alike.

Scott's previous album "Rockfluence" is a solo piano modern rock tribute, and includes songs by Guns 'N' Roses, The Eagles, Evanescence, Metallica, Nirvana, Led Zeppelin, Linkin Park, Bon Jovi, Journey, Europe, and Billy Idol. Davis will also perform original piano compositions from his "Tahoma" CD.
