Delta Paul Tunkel will be playing at Deva May 15 for art walk.
Paul is friend, son of a friend of mine, his brother used to rent my house, play harp with me and listen to my piano, but his brother is one hot dobro player. Often when in town, at T's at 710 N.Ninth Thursday blues jam. He's opened for Canned Heat among other gigs. And he's at Deva for art walk, as is Mike Frankel, who's career including covering rock concerts and gigs during the 60s and 70s, worth seeing.
also Solo bass is too at the State Theatre, and Cherub and her ukelele, other friends at any of the venues on the May 15 art walk. This one should be great. After party also, and that's at Deva, though I'll be taking down my stuff at Clayton's so will be a little late for me to be there, but drink specials and fun. Music guests there, Eric Benson host, with Johnny Valdez
Clayton's opens for dinner, for art walk at 5, can have dinner there if Deva too far away, you ended up with Nevada at Lost Art Gallery, or want to eat there after art walk over, then over to Deva, dinner served to 10 pm. See Picasso's, over to Mistlin, the Spring Show is up. Nikki Leigh will be playing for downtown improvement district out in block near photographer's gallery.
Though not on the bill, Act of Kindness plans to be open. Got some of my art over there.
