Clay Walker, a caring and cooking star.

Clay Walker has been touring with his band since the 90's and that in itself is amazing with the state of the music industry today. A while ago I watched a special on him and I learned that he has been diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis. It is pretty inspiring to me to know that he fights to live a normal life despite this issue.

To learn more about him and his fight, see: http://www.bandagainstms.org/

You may also want to look for Walker on the Food Network of all places. He stated in the interview that I watched that he has outfitted his million-dollar touring bus with all the features of a gourmet restaurant kitchen and that if he was not a singer that he would love nothing more than to be a chef.

I really enjoy reading up on people like Walker before I see them perform. It is nice to be able to see someone on stage and know that there is so much more about them than just the music that they play.
