Catch them now!
For the last couple of years I have followed along as El Olio Wolof has played to packed venues right here in Modesto. It is great to see them here, but you had better see them them now before they outgrow our little city.
The Merced-based band is now getting written up in publications such as The San Francisco Chronicle and I don't think that it will be too long before they really catch fire in the music industry.
The band will be playing Cafe Deva on J Steet next Friday night, April 18 at 8:00. The show will mark the release of their latest album, "A Tedious Task." Like I mentioned above, I have followed them for quite a while and in all that time they have never failed to really wow a crowd with their unique brand of Folk Rock music. Their lyrics are deep, their stage presence is inspiring and their dedication and passion is simply amazing.
I hope to see as many of you as possible at this all-ages show. Make plans now to get there early. It will be a packed house. For more information, check out: http://www.myspace.com/eloliowolof
