Jessicah has written an original play titled Shakespeare's Women and will be making her directorial debut. The Fringe Show will be previewd on the weekend of Shakespeare in the Park - Two performances this year!

AUCTION FOR THE ARTS - Please mark your calendars for Saturday, April 19th. That is when we will be holding our 2nd Annual Auction for the Arts from 11am-3pm at the Scout Hall, located on High Street, in Riverbank. This will be a lovely afternoon of Silent Auctions, a medley of Live Entertainment, and a Palette of Wine & Hors d'oeuvres. (Soft Drinks for you under-agers!) Admission to Auction for the Arts is a $10 donation. Kids 17 and under are FREE.

Auction for the Arts is vital to Shakespeare in the Park 2008. Net proceeds from this fundraiser go to produce Shakespeare in the Park and help keep it ADMISSION-FREE

DONATE TO AUCTION FOR THE ARTS - With the economy being what it is these days, we are not having quite as much success as we did last year with donations for the Silent Auction. We could use your help! If you know anyone who has a business that can donate goods, services, gift baskets or gift certificates, please ask if they will give. If you are an ARTIST or PHOTOGRAPHER that can donate an original framed piece of your work, please feel free.

BECOME A "FRIEND OF SHAKESPEARE IN THE PARK" - Having mentioned the economy already in this notice, we understand that times are tight for everyone. Last year, we raised $4000 in donations for SIP. The cost to produce was $4000. Fantastic! This year, we are hoping to get 50 donations of $100 each to raise $5000. If you are interested in becoming a Friend of Shakespeare in the Park and donating at this level, please contact Joey. We thank you in advance!
