The Pick & Gather at Riverdance Farms

Starts: May 31 2008 - 10:00am
Ends: Jun 1 2008 - 4:00pm
Location: Riverdance Farms, 12230 Livingston-Cressey rd., Livingston

Event details: This will be the first annual "Pick & Gather" event hosted by our local farmers Cindy Lashbrook and Bill Thomson.

Their beautiful diversified ranch fronts the Merced River and has been open to urbanites before, but this time will be special.

Riverdance dream has been to offer our community a hands-on interactive connection to the land and its natural habitat, a learning facility to educate about our precious regional eco-system and the value of a sustainable land.

This spring event on the ranch will provide a u-pick with an array of organic blueberries and Cherries, local artisians, a farmers market, music, children activities, farm tours, wine tasting and..... over nite camping!

So mark your calenders & come enjoy mother nature at her best for some good old fashion fun on the farm, this event is not to be missed!

Check back often, we will keep you posted on more Pick & Gather news!

Riverdance Farms pick and gather festival is this weekend, May 31 and June 1, and I did the poster and tee shirt design for the event above, be down there among the cherry trees, blueberrie bushes, music friends like Big Earl and the Crying Shame blues band, Tara Tinsley, Rachel Renae, Joelle Maddyson, other artists, poets, organic farmers, for bbq, horses, down on the river, farmer's market, camping, etc, and weather looks like it will turn out to be good.

Go to Livingston, CA, about 33 minutes south of Modesto, get to Main Street, go East as it becomes Livingston-Cressey Rd, and look to your left for sign to get in, about a mile and a half out of town.  Should be fun, I'm taking my watercolors, may do art demo, or just have fun.  Wine and Beer tasting too. Some costs, but should be fun.
