B-93.1 to become B-92.9

I have read that Clear Channel has petitioned the FCC to move KOSO (B-93.1) from 93.1 to 92.9. KOSO will also reduce its power from 50000 watts to 6000 watts so that Clear Channel can create a new radio station at 93.1 for Sacramento. This means that KOSO will only be able to be heard from Modesto Southward. If you listen to KOSO in Stockton or Lodi, You'll be out of luck! Good move here, I’m sure its all about the #s with B93.1 I’m thinking it will all work out just fine and best wishes to the folks at KOSO
Big love going out to my friends in LA. KJACK 93.1 FM When I’m chilling in Brentwood CA I always listen to Jack FM It’s similar to 102.3 on the weekends here in Modesto. But way more sassy. Their kick! they don’t play request; They play what they want to.

this doesn't sound that good an idea to me. Moving a 50K signal to Sacramento? Wouldn't Modestans rather keep it in Modesto? Once its gone it can't come back...
