Wanna get rocked?

I had the pleasure of speaking to Russell of the local group, DAM this weekend and he was nice enough to give me a pair of tickets to see his band open for The Original KISS Army this Friday night. This should be an interesting show. DAM has a solid following in the area and The Army even dress the part of KISS including all the black leather and face paint.

Speaking to Russell was a great experience for me and I plan on publishing a Q&A with him here soon. This guy has been rocking the Modesto music scene with his brother for over 20 years! Imagine the stories! Russell watched as Granddaddy climbed to mass Indie success and he has watched as others have tried to make a name for themselves starting here in Modesto.

If you have a chance, come by The Fat Cat this Friday night. Doors open at 6 PM and DAM is scheduled to take to the stage at 7 PM. This is a great chance for you to see some local legends and watch as one of the most popular rock bands in the history of music comes to life on stage. I am really excited about this one.
