No Longer Wandering...

Sad News to hear about Wanderlust
Yes my friend, I heard this from my sister Debra that Wanderlust had closed one day after they locked the doors for good. My sisters & I looked at each other sadly, paused, & her exact words to me where, “Brother, That sucks!" "For them & especially for their employee’s & so close to Christmas� My sister wasted no time though & called Vito and another fellow who worked at Wanderlust to offer them a job.
& even though she can’t employ everyone from our friends up the street, she will do what she can to help some of their folks over there. Yes Mojo, it’s a sad day in our community when another small business owner has to close its doors.

I personally believe that competition is good for all business including mine & in turn it’s great for our community to have a diversity in not just coffee, but in entertainment & food. Its all about our ever so so different lifestyle we all move to & enjoy living. That’s what makes us unique my friend.

You might say bro that it brings up a sort of Art to have more choices & places in our community to enjoy, Not to mention it raises the bar for everyone to do better. It just Sucks Mojo!
It can happen & did happen to the Queen Bean in Escalon.
My sister recently had to close the doors out there soon after Star Bucks moved in down the street. They took any little business away that the community of Escalon had to offer us. That’s how it goes, they are a corporate giant.
Sure it was a risky move to go to Escalon for my sister, but Debra was hoping to bring more of a diversity to Escalon when it came to Coffee & a place to hang out in the downtown area over there.

My friends, I urge you all! Please help support all your locally owned establishment. Its up to us to keep them going if we want to keep a unique diversity in Modesto.
