I've got my mojo workin'...again!
I want to apologize to my readers tonight. I have taken this Mojo thing and really put it at a distance over the last few months, but tonight I am popping out of my shell. I feel amazing! You know...we live in one hell of a little city here! We all need to have some fun!
Right now, I am at the Fat Cat using Chris Ricci's wireless connection and Solar Powered People is about to rip this place down. I am still in costume from a party/movie that I went to earlier at the State Theatre, but you know what...I don't care how stupid that I look. I have a cold drink, a ferocious band to listen to and Greg Edwards of Off the Air and his lovely wife Julie were cool enough to comp my ticket to this event.
So look for me out and about more in Modesto (Motown). If you see good art, I should be there. If you hear good music, I should be there. Some of you may dislike me, but I am who I am and I am damn happy! If you have a chance, catch an Off the Air show. Catch an art show. Feel alive!
Life is sweet! Modesto is wonderful. Music and art is in my blood and flowing quickly into my heart, mind and through my fingers onto this electronic page. Thank you for reading.
Also, I need to thank Phil and Tawny Holt, The Queenies (Karen and Elizabeth) of Queen Mab's on J Street, Anna for her constant dedication from the start, my lovely daughters, AngryF, the talented Rachel Renae, Amber the Domestic Goddess of El Olio Wolof, Megan Rene Harter and Eric at the Bee. These people keep my words alive and inspire me.
Look for me and I'll give you some free swag!
