Just Around the Corner

Condos are coming downtown in 3 years. Affordable Condos around Modesto coming in 3-5 years. Affordable Single Family Homes available now.

A General response to last night's council meeting.

We want biz in all parts of Mo Town so all existing neighborhoods/residents can enjoy a revitilized market and completion of their neighborhood ammenities originally promised to them in the booming market(ie parks, schools, shopping).

Meanwhile the Council and Planning dept. should advocate centralized growth and upwards development. A better transportation agenda should be just as important as parking discussions were in last night's council mtg. This will attract the next demographics of homebuyers to Modesto for affordable living in California. As the new generation of homeowners will be telecommuters not road commuters, buy local organics not fast food, ride bikes not drive suvs and are community focused.

To continue the City's show of support of diverse cultures, in spite of bad pr with revoking of Sin City's dance permit... the City should sponsor "Cultural" events such as Multi-Cultural festival (just past)or Cinco De Mayo. Or make appearances at the Greek Festival, Chinese New Year celebration, etc... Or just better PR in this direction. This perception of the Council will change with district voting, also just around the corner.

to whom do you address?

to whom do you address? The City Council? Which wealthy white conservative are you suggesting gets down and dirty with smelly masses?

Quick Reminder

People of all races have to follow the law. Sin City broke records with the numbers of laws they have broken.

NEWS FLASH!!!

All races have to follow the law! Yes, this is an amazing development folks.

Apparently these "laws" apply to whites, blacks, and even many of the different asian nationalities.

We now return to our regularly scheduled racists.

I'm pretty excited about the

I'm pretty excited about the coming condos downtown. It was great to see so many people stand up at the city council meeting for it. Even the people that had concerns spoke during the affirmative part of the public discussion.

This is a great start.

As for Sin City I think they may have tried but not hard enough. If your liquor lic. is suspended then you take away the booze... if your dance permit has been suspended then you take away the DJ.

AngryF...

I am also very excited about the condos downtown. I would love to get this liver thing done and then be able to really make some cash writing. Then I guess I would buy a condo for Snow White and I and live happily ever after. It is crazy, I never wanted to be here for life, but it is home now. I can tell you, it is not a bad place to raise kids, medical care is solid and there is a sense of culture in the air. But you know about that sense of culture. You created it.

Anyway, I also agree about Tymeless/Sin City. They broke the rules. That is the bottom line. Sure, the rules may be harsh and unrealistic to a point, but they are the rules. And is this really a race issue? When I spoke to Rosalind and her husband last year, he was as white as Casper the Friendly Ghost and had a stake in the business. You and I know about interracial relationships. We need to just let these people just live now. The hearing is over. Big Jim has spoken. The Council has voted. Sure it feels like that film with Kevin Bacon, "Footloose," but that is the mentality the city has to deal with right now. "Do whatever you want with my daughter boy, just don't do any of that devil dancin'!"

One more thing...When I was in Hawaii, someone got into my house and stole something very, very meaningful and special to me. They left all the electronics and other valuables, but they took my Angry F original water color. Any ideas? I have one.

I miss you being a friend buddy. I have so moved on. There is a new liver coming up, a new sense of faith and a new life for me now. Can we make peace? One night I will see you and shake your hand and maybe it will feel like old times again. A little fat dude doing nothing but promoting an artist. I miss that and I want it back. I miss you. You inspire me and as a writer, like any other artist, inspiration is as valuable as good old fashioned cash money. You know that.

Keep making the world a more colorful place,
