Event details: The Pine Box Boys perform songs of murder and misery. The perfect soundtrack for a Halloween party! These guys serve up a delicious, devilish brew of dark grass, coarse swampobilly and rugged, aching rootsy country that wanders through haunted alleys, dive bars, deserted mining towns on the wrong side of the tracks in your own home town. Bringing together a cut-loose jangle that occasionally waltzes through a taste of jazz, bluegrass and country folk. Need more murder ballads in your life? If you're looking for macabre, sinister, foot-stompin', flat-pickin', fiddle-sawin', moonshine-fueled songs of betrayal, insanity, passion, stone-cold acts of killin', and the utmost conviction that "Yes, tonight my love must die a bloody death at my hands," then The Pine Box Boys are for you.

Hailing from Oakdale, opening this special Halloween show is The Good Luck Thrift Store Outfit. Members of TGLTSO drew together out of the sheer necessity to create great music. Comprised of former members of The Puffin' Billies, Built Like Alaska, and Grandaddy, the band blends superb musicianship with a prolific body of creative songwriting. Their eclectic Americana style is for folks anxious to have a good time and hear some good, honest music.
