BHRS Art Walk and Music Festival, Oct 5, call to artists
Event details: The office of Consumer and Family Affairs, the Peer to Peer Recovery Art Project, ModestoArtx present, an Art Walk and Music Festival, as part of a campaign to end stigma and kick off Red Ribbon Month. October 5, 2007, 11 am to 2 pm.
Community artists encouraged to participate, display with peer artists at the Behavioral Health and Recovery Services campus at 800 Scenic Drive, and reservations to display due to October 3, by calling John Black, BHRS Family Advocate at 209-525-7368. Support Recovery and join us. Public is invited.
Members of the Peer to Peer Recovery Art project, BHRS staff, volunteers, BHRS affiliated program artists, and community artists will display their work in this free public event, to support Recovery, and as a kick off to Red Ribbon Month. Event will include Live music, Tours of the Consumer and Family Employment and Empowerment Center, Meet and greet your advocates, Free Red Ribbons, art interactive displays, networking, snacks and refreshments.
