More rally photos

The rally at MJC was a big success today and it was great to see the youth from local high schools standing up to showcase their voices. There were people in the crowd of all different races and the sense of unity and community pride was inspiring.

From what I have heard, the people of Modesto really stood up today. There were some rallies and events that fizzled out like the one planned for noon on Crows Landing Road but Crows Landing Road was alive this morning and that spirit spread into Ceres, Downtown Modesto and onto the campus of MJC.

These photos are some of the first that will available for the public to view. The Modesto Bee has not published photos of the rallies held today on their site yet.

This is a prime example of community journalism at work. You are the reporters, photographers and publishers for this site because you were the ones standing in the crowds today with your fists in the air and your hearts on your sleeves.
