Welcome to your new and improved Scene. Snazzy, no? We’ve doubled the section’s size and added some (hopefully) exciting new features. They include the new Modesto Famous page (where we pull pictures and information off your posts here to run in the paper), The Beat (a local band/musician of the week profile), Let’s Eat (a dining and restaurant guide) and a night life calendar (including concerts, DJs and karaoke). You will also find us free around town, so pick up a copy and see what the Scene has to offer. Hope you like it.

The Scene

I would like to see more local coverage as Modesto is blessed with many really good mucical talents. How about a behind the scenes with local bands and talent. Promote local talent I do!

The Scene/AAAA

The Scene features an article about a local artist every week. One of our main goals with The Scene is to promote local talent more. We also try hard to do that here at Famous.
