It's still so hot out there!

It's another hot day here in Motown and if the weather report is correct, it should be about 98 degrees out there today. The rest of the week should not be as hot, but we should all stay cool no matter what and drink a ton of fluids. If you are really bored and feel like driving, you can catch Gwen Stefani tonight in Marysville. Tickets are still available.

I hope that every dad out there had a great day yesterday. Being a part-time dad is hard, but I had lunch with my daughters at Extreme Pizza downtown and then we had ice cream sundaes at Lourd's near Brenden. We are lucky to have the downtown that we have here. It is usually always pretty easy to find fun things to do and great food.

Did anyone else catch the T.V. show Cold Case last night? There was a part where a detective was trying to figure out how a woman disappeared and he began to think that her husband did it. He actually said to another detective, "Maybe he went all Scott Peterson on her." I hate that we are so famous for that case. It really makes us look bad as a community.

Have a great day out there and don't forget that the monthly art show at Cafe Deva is Friday night. This will be a great show featuring the music of Sapo Sueno. They are quickly becoming one of the most popular bands in the area. I hope that they continue to get more popular and that they hit it big soon.

One last thing: This is what happens when your kids take over your MacBook and start playing with the built-in camera and software. They are hilarious.
