Queen Mab's heading downtown

You know how we feel about local art. We love it. We support it. We have attended just about every type of event that you can imagine around here and we have checked out just about every place that sells local art.

Well, we found out this morning that one of our favorite local shops is moving downtown next to The State Theater on J Street and we could not be happier. You see, Queen Mab's sells items crafted by local artisans as well as other items that are unique and exciting.

If you need some pixie dust or maybe a giant screaming head or just a kettle to whip up some magic potions in, check out Mab's. The world cannot have enough purple frogs, pirate costumes or Alice in Wonderland gear. Everytime I walk into Mab's I feel like a kid again.

The shop opens next Tuesday. Go in and just say hi. They won't cast any spells on you unless you ask or they just don't like you. But they seem to like just about everyone so you should be ok!
