Rest in peace music man...
Not many people did as much for valley music as Buck Owens did. His string of 20 number one hits inspired songrwriters here and world-wide to grab a pen and take to the stage.
Today country music mourns a legend. The lights may get a bit dimmer at his club in Bakersfield, The Crystal Palace, but the music will continue to play on and inspire because Buck Owens would not have had it any other way.
Goodbye Mr. Owens. Rest in peace.
