Thank you Modesto!

I just needed to hop on here as soon as I could this morning and say thank you from the bottom of my heart to everyone that came out last night to Hero's! The benefit show went incredibly smooth and the money raised will really help me out with medical needs! This community rocks!

I need to give a special thanks to Matt Colp of The Evening News, Wes over at Hero's, our tireless team of volunteers, Project 59, Kung Fu Conspiracy and EARL! I was so nervous yesterday but this went off without a hitch! It felt like the whole city was there at some point last night and watching Motown rally around one it's own was awesome and inspiring!

Have a beautiful weekend out there and hold someone extra close. I live with this health issue but I hold tight to those that support me and I never let them go because they never let me down! I would gladly fight for any of my friends!

This would be a great night to catch a show!If you have a chance, head over to www.myspace.com/theeveningnews and find out about their show in Turlock tonight at Starbuck's. Kung Fu Conspiracy will be at Sidelines on McHenry tonight about 8:00 jamming for nearly two hours!

Also, check out www.myspace.com/earlband for info. on their next show on Oct. 5. Last night along with their instruments they brought a comedian, a massive security guy named Igor, a few half-naked ladies from the pajama party at The Fat Cat, a stuffed monkey, a trombome, some cigars and the attitude and ability of pure rock stars! They were amazing!

The kung fu conspiracy blew me away friday nite

They played "What a Wonderful World" on friday nite. I thought that was awesome and a all around classy song, and the first song they played was real funk and rock mixed together like i haven't heared before. The drummer and bass player were tight! And the guitars were smokin too! They made a fan out of me. Way to rock.

Estoy Crudo

That was a fun gig!...I have to appologize to everyone that had to sit through our first couple of songs...I think the beers had taken effect pretty heavy on a few of us! So we didn't catch our stride until a few songs into it, but after that it was a party!..complete with danicng girls on the stage! I'm Glad we could be at such a positive event and have such a good time with such great people. All the bands were excellent as were the beers!

I just wanted to say that it was really great to have had the privilege to have met you and your wife. You seem to be a strong couple with an amazing outlook on life. Your story not only touched me but has also inspired me to look at my own life as well as those around me in a completely different light. I hope there was enough donated to put at least a little dent in what I'm sure are outrageous bills. It was a great night, lots of people and some really great bands. I hope to see you and your wife again soon! Take care!

I was really glad to have met you also! I am so glad that you enjoyed the show. It was incredible to see how many people came out for us. Thank you for what you said about us. All we really do is work around the situation that we have to deal with.

Megan and I have a pretty simple deal between one another; She has promised to walk beside me and I have promised to walk beside her. Boulders keep getting pushed into our path but we climb them. We have to. But it takes both of us to help one another over a few of the big boulders. We lift one another up when we have to.

It sure gets hard sometimes but life is worth it! She is my soul and her passion makes me fight like hell! Take care of you and Big Jonesy and have fun! Climb over some boulders! It will make you feel damn good.

In regard to the show, A good deal of money was raised and it will help us very much. Thank you for being in our corner!
