It has been too long folks! I hope that we didn't lose any of you in the midst of our tornado of tech issues. It was a rough go for a while but we are back and I am more inspired than I have been in a while. I needed a break to get down and dirty with some heavy health issues anyway, so I guess that everything worked out.

Here's last weeks blog again, am hoping techies fixed the log in function. To October 10, Valley Arts Association has their Fall Carraige and Art Show at Del Rio Theatre arts center on 108 and Third in Riverbank, and quite a nice show. Went to the reception, Scott Ferguson, Lori Snable, Suzanne Friedman, Ed Cesena and more on board or in winning categories. Lost that review trying to post after opening last Friday.

Yesterday I got some help with a project I am working on from some of the most unexpected people. The MJC staff over on Blue Gum who do the Admissions and Financial Aid stuff were so very helpful that I needed to blog on them...each was pleasant and professional and helpful...thanks guys! As far as running from place to place in Modesto, I have way too much stuff to carry each time I ride, books, eats and drinks and things...it would be too awkward to run with this stuff on my back. I did take College and the driving folk were much more generous in terms of road sharing and allowing me in and out of traffic...so maybe its a Tully thing?

Road trip to Patterson required on Oct. 18!

This morning I rode my bike to college, I run at like 6:30a.m. as one of my classes and the ride along Tully is littered with broken bottles only within the bike lane...I get to school and run like a 8:40 mile, which for me is good enough, then we ran around the college campus and then I rode home to get ready to ride back for the days classes. Riding southbound on Tully is ok until you approach Coldwell...then traffic gets very antaganistic, drivers are discourteous and bike haters...maybe its just today...so, I'm thinking I should try College Avenue tommorrow.
