Hello to everyone! It has been a while since I've posted here on Modesto Famous. I took a very long hiatus from the site. Not by choice, but by simply forgetting. I took a break from the Modesto area for about a year and I'm getting back into the scene. It is quite a year for me and I have grown so much as a person and even more so as a writer!

As of this moment, I only have one thing to mention which is that there is a GLBTQ (Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual, Transexual, Questioning) Youth group meeting going on at College Avenue Congregational Church. It is on the corner of College Avenue and Orangeburg Avenue. I must tell you thought that it is for 14-19 years of age. The meetings are held every second and fourth Wednesdays of the month and have some very wonderful people fascilitating them. Feel free to go and join; however, I must tell you that if you are over the age of 19 and want to participate in the meetings, you may not be able to! It is a shame, but you can discuss with the parents who run the group about being there to moderate the group. You will have to obtain some forms. I do not know the complete information on that, but I am waiting for forms to be prepared. But if you are between the ages of 14-19 years of age, you are more than welcome to! You do not have to be Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual, Transexual, or Questioning to attend. You can be a Heterosexual supporter of the Gay community! So come on by!

And yes, the meeting is today. Which is Wednesday, January 23, 2008.
